Terms of use

Glucosteps is a closed pilot. You may use it only if you have a valid invite code, are aged 18 or over, and live in the United Kingdom. By signing in you confirm both.

Glucosteps is an educational self-management tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any condition, and is not a substitute for advice from your diabetes nurse, GP, pharmacist or any other healthcare professional. Guidance, including AI-generated coach messages, glycaemic load estimates and smart swaps, is informational only and may be incorrect.

Always speak to a qualified clinician before changing what you eat, your medication, or how you manage your diabetes. Call 999 in an emergency, or 111 for urgent non-emergency help.

Keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Don't share your invite code publicly. It's there to keep the pilot focused.

Don't use Glucosteps to:

• Submit anyone else's personal or health data without their permission.
• Attempt to access another user's account, scrape the service, or reverse-engineer the app.
• Disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or upload anything malicious.
• Provide clinical advice to other people based on what the app tells you.

You retain ownership of the meals, glucose readings and notes you add. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide the app to you, support you, and improve the service (as described in the privacy notice).

This is a pilot. Features may change, break, or be removed at short notice. We may suspend or end the pilot, your access, or your account if needed (for example, if you breach these terms). You can leave any time by deleting your account in Settings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glucosteps Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or harm arising from clinical decisions made based on the app's output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
